What we do with what you tell us. The assessment's answers are used to write your report and, without your name or company, to count which processes recur across the businesses that answer. We don't sell, share or add you to a list. Client personal information never goes into public AI tools.

About this policy
This policy explains how Orkateq Pty Ltd (Orkateq, we, us) handles personal information about people who visit this site, send us an enquiry, take the assessment or work with us as a client.
It covers what we collect, what we use it for, who receives it, how long we hold it and the choices you have. Our contact details are at the end of this page.
Information we collect
We collect the information you give us directly. That includes your name, work email and company when you send an enquiry, your answers and contact details when you take the assessment, anything you tell us by email or on a call, and the business contact details and working information we exchange during an engagement.
When you visit the site, standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request is recorded. We use it to run and secure the site.
If an enquiry or assessment comes from a marketing campaign, we record the campaign source with the enquiry.
If you agree to analytics or marketing cookies, third party analytics and advertising services also collect information about your visit.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health details or beliefs, and we ask that you do not send it. This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children.
You do not have to give us any information, but without contact details we cannot reply to an enquiry or send an assessment report.
Why we collect it
We use your contact details to reply to your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to businesses that contact us.
We use your assessment answers to write and send the report you asked for, and we use engagement information to deliver and invoice the work you agreed to. Our lawful basis is contract.
We count assessment answers in aggregate, with names and company details removed, to understand which processes are common across businesses. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest, and the aggregate results do not identify you.
We use technical information from site visits to run and secure the site. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest.
We use analytics to understand how the site is used, only if you agree. Our lawful basis is consent.
We use advertising services to show our ads to people who have visited the site, only if you agree. Our lawful basis is consent.
We hold the records we need to meet our tax, accounting and other legal requirements. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, we collect only the information reasonably necessary for these purposes and use it only for them, for a related purpose you would reasonably expect, or with your consent.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask to join.
We use third party service providers to run our business, including email, website hosting, form delivery, bot protection, analytics and advertising services. They may receive personal information only as needed to provide their services to us.
We may also disclose personal information where the law requires it, for example in response to a lawful request from a regulator or a court.
International transfers
Some of our third party service providers, including our bot protection, analytics and advertising providers, may store or process personal information outside Australia, the UK and the EEA, including in the United States.
Where the law requires it, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for these transfers.
Analytics and advertising
With your consent, we use analytics for measurement of how visitors use the site, and advertising services to show our ads to people who have visited before. You can accept or decline these at any time.
Details of the cookies we use are on our cookies page. You can change your choice at any time from the cookies page.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and assessment information for 24 months from your last contact with us, then delete it.
We keep records of engagements, such as agreements and invoices, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Aggregate information that does not identify anyone may be kept.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a data breach occurs that the law requires us to report, we will notify you and the relevant regulator.

Client personal information does not go into public AI tools. Any use of AI in client work is agreed with the client.
Automated decisions
We do not make decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you by automated means alone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or the Australian Privacy Act 1988 may give you the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format.
